Charles Sabec

CHUCK'S BIO photo.jpg

Charles "Doc" Sabec has always been known as a renaissance man. He is most comfortable when traveling the border between practical and the impossible. He conceptualized his dreams of the perfect vehicle for a contemporary atelier in 1998.

All it needed was an able crew. So he founded Studio Eight Fine Art and recruited his famous colleagues into a modern day problem solving machine that has earned critical international acclaim since day one. His portfolio of work consists of paintings, drawings, ceramics, glass, sculpture, printmaking, photography,  jewelry, product design, furniture design, mechanical engineering, architecture, and installation pieces. His work can be found in numerous museums and private collections around the world. Today, Doc is working on the design and construction of a half acre native plant garden to provide sanctuary for bees, butterflies, hummingbirds and restore the planet in a small way in his front yard. We think he just hates cutting the grass…

Baber Madison

Carlo 1.jpg

Baber Madison hails from the mean streets of the Bronx. However, recognizing his prodigal talent and short temper, his parents quickly spirited him away to the Midwest before his lack of street fighting skills could rob the world of his heroic wit. Baber studied abroad in college and continued his world travels in the logistics industry, where he crafted stories that inveigled angry regulators, customers, and executives alike. He has also plied his writing skills in nonprofit and governmental sectors, where his ability to charm snakes, polish turds, and transform lemons into whiskey sours was ever on call. Baber prides himself on using 50-cent words, but has the restraint to write for the lowest of lowbrow audiences. From copywriting and speechwriting to crisis communications and content marketing, Baber has done it all and done it well. Baber’s love of international travel persists today, although it has taken a backseat to the greater love he has for his young children. In his spare time, he enjoys baking, reading, and growing his vocabulary. Wanted in several states for aggravated use of the passive voice, Baber resides in an undisclosed location above the 39th parallel.
